In this article, researchers from Griffith University’s Centre of Biomedical and Rehabilitation Engineering (GCORE) (Dr Matthew Bourne, Dr Tyler Collings and Benjamin Dutaillis), share their insights into the disproportionately high anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury rates of female athletes. Furthermore, they provide strategies on how to start addressing this problem through screenings and targeted interventions. We are fortunate to be able to share their normative data for each of their tests which have been obtained from approximately 400 female athletes.
