AFLW Normative Data: Nordic, Hip Adduction and CMJ Results

Clinical StudiesLast Updated:

A distribution of results from over 170 athletes and over 4,000 tests conducted on VALD’s NordBord, ForceFrame, and ForceDecks in professional female Australian Rules Football across Seasons 2020 and 2021.

The following figures feature the distribution of Nordic and hip adduction (60 degrees) strength results, along with concentric peak power results for the last two seasons of the professional female Australian Football League (AFLW).

The data collected over the previous two seasons suggest there were no clear differences in strength or power between the two seasons. These figures provide normative data reference values for those involved in the physical preparation of professional female athletes, particularly Australian Football.
